Echo Taskforce detectives arrested three people today following a stabbing in Dandenong earlier this month with alleged linked to the Finks Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG).
A 31-year-old Springvale man was interviewed and charged for allegedly intentionally causing serious injury in circumstances of gross violence, causing serious injury, affray, possessing methylamphetamine, steroids and cocaine.
A 46-year-old Hillside man was also interviewed and charged with allegedly intentionally causing serious injury in circumstances of gross violence, cause serious injury, affray and failing to comply with a direction pursuant to Section 465AA of the Crimes Act 1958.
The pair will face Dandenong Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
A 28-year-old Dandenong man was interviewed and charged with allegedly possessing prohibited weapons offences and bailed to appear at court at a later date.
Police allege the three men are all connected to the Finks OMCG.
The arrests follow an incident on Sunday, 6 March where a man aged in his 30s was seriously assaulted by a group of males while walking along Dunn Crescent about 8.20pm, sustaining a number of stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
