Moorabbin CIU detectives have arrested a 52-year-old man in relation to a large series of alcohol thefts between December 2021 and July 2022, across Melbourne.
It’s alleged the man stole approximately $30,000 worth of high-end whiskey and scotch from bottle shops in 60 separate thefts in 19 different suburbs .
The 52-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested in Bentleigh yesterday.
He has been charged with 60 counts of theft and held over to appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
