A 43-year-old female sergeant from the Transit and Public Safety Command has been charged with sexual assault and unlawful assault following an internal investigation.
A 43-year-old female sergeant from the Transit and Public Safety Command has been charged with sexual assault and unlawful assault following an internal investigation.
The charges relate to an incident while the officer was on-duty on 30 September 2021.
She has been summonsed to appear before court at a later date.
Victoria Police has been contacted for comment.
