WorkSafe Country Club Game heads to King Valley

The WorkSafe Country Club Game will travel to the Ovens and King Football League this week, as King Valley United Football and Netball Club are set to take on Bonnie Doon Football and Netball Club in Round 15 action on Saturday 9 July at Whitfield Recreation Reserve, Whitfield, with pre-game festivities kicking off from 12:30pm.

The WorkSafe Country Club Game will travel to the Ovens and King Football League this week, as King Valley United Football and Netball Club are set to take on Bonnie Doon Football and Netball Club in Round 15 action on Saturday 9 July at Whitfield Recreation Reserve, Whitfield, with pre-game festivities kicking off from 12:30pm.

The WorkSafe Country Club Program provides an opportunity to share the message of workplace safety whilst also giving back to the football community by bringing AFL & Netball talent to the clubs, holding engaging activations and honouring the hard work of the clubs’ volunteers.

The King Valley WorkSafe Country Club Game is the fourth of six such games to be held throughout 2022. Traralgon FNC, North Warrnambool FNC and South Colac FNC have previously hosted games this season.

WorkSafe Country Club Ambassador Tom Boyd will be in attendance at King Valley United FNC throughout the week and on gameday, participating in team training and gameday festivities.

Other notable attendees include WorkSafe Executive Director of Health and Safety, Dr Narelle Beer, AFL Victoria Community Football Manager, John O’Donohue, and Netball Victoria General Manager Commercial Marketing & Partnerships, Naomi Barter.
