KINGLAKE WEST, VIC. — This Saturday, February 7, at 5pm, the Kinglake West Fire Brigade (CFA) will meet at the Memorial Bell next to the Kinglake West Mechanics Hall to toll the bell and hold a minute’s silence in memory of all those affected by bushfires.
All are welcome to attend the 17th Anniversary Memorial Service for the Black Saturday bushfires.
The bell is the original Kinglake West Country Fire Brigade (CFBB) Board, forerunner to the CFA, used to call volunteers to the station before modern technology, such as the ERS, arrived in Kinglake.
