MELBOURNE, VIC. — For 25 years, NICA has delivered world-class circus arts education and has shaped the contemporary circus landscape. Now, we are stepping into an independent future backed by a strengthened Board and a bold vision to become a Registered Training Organisation.

Coming Home is NICA’s 25th anniversary celebration: a spectacular, heartfelt trip through the stories that have made NICA what it is. Inspired by the NICA archives, the show turns the pages of our history, with generations of students, graduates and teachers sharing the stage, expect to see soaring aerials, wheels, hoops, bikes, foot juggling and plenty of circus skill.

As we celebrate where NICA has come from, we’re also looking towards the next 25 years. Students from Shanghai Circus School join us for the final iteration of the Beyond Our Boundaries project, reflecting NICA’s growing international connections and ambitions for the future.

You’re invited to help us celebrate our birthday and make yourself at home at NICA from November 19-21 2026.

“NICA’s home is remarkable for its engineering, its adaptability and its light. Even a quiet visit presents students testing their courage and flair and highlights the critical safety features available,” Ted Baillieu, NICA’s Chair of the Board, said.

All proceeds from ticket sales and additional donations go towards NICA’s Excellence Scholarship Fund.
