ROSANNA, VIC. — From the team that brought you our 2023 sell-out Ladies in Black, comes a quirky musical about an eclectic group of adolescents (played by grown-up actors) who compete to become Spelling Champion, meanwhile telling stories of their family and background through song.
Directed by Tim Scott with musical direction by John Clancy and choreography by Jenny Vincent-Green, it has been nominated for six Tony Awards and winner of two.
This funny and touching show charms audiences with its wit and humour, its fast pace and vibrant score.
There’s even an opportunity for audience participation for those interested.
Evening performances are at 8pm on November 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28 and 29th.
Weekend Matinees will be held at 2pm on November 15, 16, 22 and 23rd at 36 Turnham Avenue, Rosanna.
