Mill Park, Lalor kids arrested following attempted Bundoora robbery

Victoria Police detectives this afternoon arrested a 13-year-old Epping boy, 15-year-old Lalor boy and 15-year-old Bundoora boy following a number of alleged incidents in the Bundoora area.

Mill Park Serious Crime Taskforce detectives allege the incidents include attempted robbery at a shopping centre on Plenty Road, Bundoora on June 15 and an aggravated carjacking in a car park at the same complex on June 18.

The three teenagers have been charged with attempted robbery, aggravated carjacking and assault-related offences with one boy bailed and the two others remanded to appear at a children’s court at a later date.

An 18-year-old Mill Park man was also arrested by detectives this afternoon and is currently assisting police and was expected to be charged with attempted robbery, aggravated carjacking and assault-related offences and is likely to face an out of sessions hearing today at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
