Police are investigating after a woman was seriously injured during an altercation in Barwon Heads last night.
It is believed the woman was injured during the altercation on Bridge Road on Saturday, April 19, just before 11pm.
A woman is her 40’s was airlifted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A 55-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries under police guard.
He was released from hospital and taken into custody.
An investigation into the circumstances of the incident continues.
