Cyclist dies following Cudgee collision

CUDGEE, VIC. — A cyclist has died following a collision with a car in Cudgee this morning.

CUDGEE, VIC. — A cyclist has died following a collision with a car in Cudgee this morning.

Police investigators understand the driver and cyclist were travelling east along Hopkins Falls Road about 8.10am when the incident occurred.

The cyclist, a 70-year-old Warrnambool man, died at the scene.

A 20-year-old Wangoom man was arrested at the scene and will be interviewed by Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision is ongoing.
