VICTORIA. — A 40-year-old male senior constable from the southern region has been charged following an internal investigation.
The unnamed senior constable has been charged with one count of sexual exposure.
The incident allegedly occurred on Friday, April 24, while the police officer was on duty.
Police will allege he was “not in uniform” or “performing police duties” at the time.
He was charged on summons to appear before an undisclosed Magistrates’ Court at an undisclosed date.
It is not known if he remains an active police officer or has been placed on leave, with or without pay.
