Driver airlifted to hospital after collision

DROUIN, VIC. — Baw Baw Highway Patrol officers are appealing for witnesses after emergency services were called to Main Neerim Road, near Myers Road, Drouin, after a Toyota Hilux utility, towing a trailer with a car on it, left the roadway and crashed into a tree at 6.19am today.

DROUIN, VIC. — Baw Baw Highway Patrol officers are appealing for witnesses after emergency services were called to Main Neerim Road, near Myers Road, Drouin, after a Toyota Hilux utility, towing a trailer with a car on it, left the roadway and crashed into a tree at 6.19am today.

The driver, a 29-year-old Neerim man, was ejected from the utility and suffered life-threatening injuries.

He was airlifted to hospital in a stable condition.

Police are appealing for motorists with dashcams who were driving on Main Neerim Road at the time, or anyone who witnessed the collision, to come forward.
