Greenhills’ “Mrs Mac” passes

Former much-loved and well-known Greenhills Primary School physical education teacher, Marjorie MacDonald, known to many as 'Mrs Mac' in the 1980s and 90s passed away, aged 85.

Former much-loved and well-known Greenhills Primary School physical education teacher, Marjorie MacDonald, known to many as ‘Mrs Mac’ in the 1980s and 90s passed away, aged 85.

Mrs MacDonald was well-known to generations of children who attended Greenhills Primary School in Greensborough as a compassionate and understanding teacher.

I also went to Greenhills [Primary School],” Mrs MacDonald’s daughter, Sheridan Hayter said from Cookham, UK.

Mrs Mac used physical education and sport to engage her students. Mrs Mac is well-remembered by the many generations of students she taught at Greenhills Primary School.

Mrs Donald passed after a short battle with cancer.
