TOOBORAC, VIC. — Police are investigating a fatal crash in Tooborac on Friday morning.
Emergency services were called to reports that two cars and a truck had crashed into a fallen tree on Northern Highway about 6am.
The driver of one of the cars, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The driver of the other car sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.
The truck driver was not injured.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is ongoing.
The Northern Highway is expected to be closed for some time.
