WANGARATTA, VIC. — Wangaratta Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after a woman was stabbed in Wangaratta this morning.
It is believed the woman was involved in a dispute with a neighbour on Speed Street when she was stabbed about 7.20am.
A 53-year-old Wangaratta woman has been airlifted to hospital in a critical condition.
A 29-year-old Wangaratta man was arrested on Weir Street just after 9am.
He is currently in custody. The investigation remains ongoing.
