The right-wing actor, James Wood, who has starred in The Simpson and Family Guy as himself, lied to the media about losing his home.

His live act included ‘breaking down’ during an interview on US cable news station CNN when his home had not been lost at all.

Mr Woods then used the false claim that his home had been lost to attack the LA Fire Department, LAFD Chief for being a woman, California Governor Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.

Mr Woods said Wednesday on Fox News that a “tribunal” for California Governor Gavin Newsom should be called due to the extensive damage done by wildfires in the Los Angeles area.

“If it is true that things were handled this way, if it is true that Gavin Newsom is the absolute blithering idiot that I believe he is in the way he has handled fire management in this state again and again and again and again, this isn’t a wake-up call,” Woods told Fox News host Laura Ingraham.

” … while Family Guy star James Woods shared footage of flames licking the plants outside his swimming pool,” Charlotte Karp reported in the Herald Sun on Friday, January 10.

Mr Woods lost some of his garden and a few pot plants. He did not lose his home at all, as the Murdoch media keep reporting.

This was followed on Saturday, January 11, with another double-page in the Herald Sun.
