A 26-year-old off-duty police custody officer was detected drink driving in Redan on Thursday, April 24.
He was intercepted by police at a breath-testing site on Skipton Street shortly after 8.30am, where he underwent an evidentiary breath test, returning an alleged reading of .101 per cent BAC.
The unnamed officer, based in Victoria’s western region, received an infringement notice for drink driving.
His licence was immediately suspended for 10 months.
Victoria Police did not respond to requests for comment.
