ST KILDA, VIC. — Police have thwarted an alleged drug trafficker’s operation to supply cocaine following his arrest and the seizure of $35,000 worth of cocaine.
Detectives from the Prahran Divisional Response Unit commenced an investigation in May into the alleged distribution of cocaine following several anonymous reports made to Crime Stoppers.
Officers executed a search warrant at an apartment on St Kilda Road, St Kilda, about 5.30am on Thursday, November 13, arresting a 25-year-old man at the scene.
Inside, police seized a traffickable quantity of cocaine with an estimated potential street value of $35,000, as well as quantities of MDMA, cannabis and cash, and electronic devices.
The man has been charged with trafficking cocaine, possessing cocaine, MDMA and cannabis, and knowingly dealing with proceeds of crime.
He was bailed to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on May 4, 2026.
The British national faces deportation if found guilty.
