ASPENDALE, VIC. — Police have arrested a man and a woman overnight following alleged firearms incidents in Hampton Park and Keysborough yesterday.
It is alleged a black BMW pulled into a shopping centre car park on Somerville Road in Hampton Park about 12.50pm.
The female driver got out of the BMW, entered the shopping centre and was involved in a verbal altercation with a man when she returned to the car.
It is alleged the male offender, who stayed inside the BMW, pointed a firearm at the male victim.
He was not physically injured.
The man and woman fled in the BMW.
The black BMW later attended a shopping centre in Keysborough about 7.20pm.
Police will allege a woman stole items from a supermarket on Chapel Road.
When she was confronted by a staff member, the male offender allegedly threatened them with a firearm.
No shots were fired, and there were no physical injuries.
The duo fled in the BMW.
Police located the black BMW parked outside a property on Nepean Highway in Aspendale about 1am.
A 26-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were arrested and taken into custody.
