Firefighters tackle house fire

TARNEIT, VIC. — Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) firefighters responded to a reported fire on Creekwood Court, Tarneit at 2.21pm on Monday, March 30, after multiple callers to Triple Zero (000) reported a house fire.

TARNEIT, VIC. — Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) firefighters responded to a reported fire on Creekwood Court, Tarneit at 2.21pm on Monday, March 30, after multiple callers to Triple Zero (000) reported a house fire.

Firefighters arrived on scene in five minutes to find a single-storey house in flames. The response was escalated to a second alarm.

FRV crews wearing breathing apparatus conducted a primary search of the premises, confirming there were no occupants and then began an external attack on the blaze.

The fire was deemed under control by 2.52pm.

The cause of the fire is not yet known and will be investigated by FRV specialists.

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria also attended.
