LALOR, VIC. — Whittlesea Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following an aggravated burglary in Lalor last week.

Investigators have been told two unknown males smashed their way into the front bedroom of a residence on Dalton Road about 3am on Friday, December 5.

Once inside, the offenders threatened the female occupant with a knife before stealing a bag containing the victim’s wallet as well as several presents underneath a Christmas tree inside the home.

There were no physical injuries.

The offenders smashed the victim’s car window and slashed the vehicle’s tyre before fleeing.

Investigators are treating this as a targeted incident.

The offenders are described as aged in their 20s and were wearing unknown-coloured hooded jumpers, trackpants, balaclavas and carrying backpacks.
