LIVE: Melbourne’s ‘Put Australia First’ rally

MELBOURNE, VIC. — Good Sunday morning, everyone, and welcome to our live coverage of today's 'Put Australia First' rally commencing 'under the clocks' of Flinders Street Station and the counter-protest commencing at the State Library with Ashley Geelan (AG) and Kerry-Ann Willcocks (KW) reporting.

MELBOURNE, VIC. — Good Sunday morning, everyone, and welcome to our live coverage of today’s ‘Put Australia First’ rally commencing ‘under the clocks’ of Flinders Street Station and the counter-protest commencing at the State Library with Ashley Geelan (AG) and Kerry-Ann Willcocks (KW) reporting.

2:45pm – With the rally over and crowds dispersing, we thank you for joining our coverage today. VicNews will publish the speeches of every speaker tonight. We wish readers an enjoyable Sunday afternoon.

2:26pm – Tommy Robinson is now addressing the crowd from London via video link. “I know how they infiltrate you. Their job is to discredit your legitimate message,” Robinson told the crowd whilst starting a chant of “Keir Stamer is a wanker” and is now singing “Avi Yemini is a wanker.”

2:10pm – Nick Patterson is now addressing the crowd talking about how “woke council with their rainbow lanyards are fining him $20,000” for parking his truck (the one being used as a stage today) at Flagstaff Gardens. “I’ve got no money, so I don’t know how [the] council will get blood from a stone,” he said.

2:01pm – Kelly Newton-Wordsworth is performing again with a song she apparently played at the King of Thailand’s birthday.

1:55pm – Chukwuemeka ‘Emeka’ Edwin-Nweze, an African-Australian migrant, is currently addressing the crowd, who is calling for “immigration to be done properly.”

1:44pm – A member of the National Socialist Network (NSN) is sighted wearing his Helly Hansen (HH, which of course stands for ‘Heil Hitler’) jacket at the rally. He is currently being escorted from Flagstaff Gardens by police.

1:28pm – Pauline Hanson is now addressing the rally. As she claims that she is not ‘anti-migrant’. “I welcome you to this country if you follow our rules or I’ll be the first one to put you on a plane and wave you goodbye,” Hanson said as she wished protestors a Merry Christmas and thanked them for their support as another so-called “left-wing infiltrator” is removed by police.

1:25pm – Kelly Newton-Wordsworth is performing “Hold The Line’ which speaks of “Bill Gates” and “Dr Fauci and his band of … ” and lyrics that include “these politicians should go down with their lives.”

1.10pm – Morgan Jonas is MC as speeches will soon commence. He thanks ‘Pastor Paul’ for his church “donating the stage.”

1:03pm – Avi Yemini and some others are now calling First Nations counter-protestors racists who ‘have no right to be here’. “You live a comfortable life now, don’t you, thanks to the colonisers, don’t you?” Yemini asked the First Nations counter-protestors.

“Pretty comfortable life ya got thanks to the colonisers,” Yemini told her during his vox pop.

12:57pm – The protestors are now arriving at Flagstaff Gardens as ‘Amazing Grace’ is played.

12:51pm – Avi Yemini (a former IDF soldier and self-proclaimed ‘proud Jewish Nazi’) vox pops an Australian-Palestinian and their son as they march towards Flagstaff Gardens.

12:48pm – As per yesterday’s Sydney rally, they are now marching towards Flagstaff Gardens whilst The Seeker’s epic classic “I Am Australian” plays through the PA system without a hint or irony or self-awareness.

12:40pm – “Over the last year, over two million people came into Australia illegally” another protestor has claimed. “Mass immigration is just too high,” said another. “It’ll turn into a social credit system, and the government will just turn off your life,” another said.

12:37pm – As they march to chants of “Aussie Aussie Aussie oi oi oi” in the teaming rain, one lady says: “I’m here to stop digital ID. Even the government has now postponed the start of the under-16 social media ban because, I think of how many people turned up at yesterday’s Sydney rally,” she said.

12:29pm – The march has commenced in the pouring rain to ‘Boys Light Up.”

12.21pm – Melbourne’s rain has arrived just in time for the Put Australia First march from Flinders Street Station to Flagstaff Gardens and it’s now teaming with rain in.

12.:05pm – Anti-immigrant protestors, estimated to be around 250 to 300 people have gathered ‘under the clocks’ of Flinders Street Station. A speaker -unknown who – announced ‘on the steps’ for people to ‘meet someone new’ and ‘enjoy the music’ before the march to Flagstaff Gardens starts in ’15 minutes.’

11:51am – Content creator Avi Yemini interviews a man in a fake police uniform ‘under the clocks’ whilst talking about ‘rights’ and ‘inserting Aborginals’ into the constitution.’ “Why aren’t we taught the Constitution in school?” a protestor asked.

11:35am – With the ‘Put Australia First’ rally due to commence at noon, in typical Melbourne style, the rain came and now the sun is out.
