Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman in Upper Ferntree Gully on Sunday morning.
Officers were called to a home on Seaby Avenue following reports of a deceased female about 7.50am on Sunday, August 10.
Upon entering the premises, attending officers located the deceased.
She is yet to be formally identified.
A man, known to the woman, was arrested at the property.
Detectives will interview the 46-year-old Upper Ferntree Gully man concerning the woman’s death.
