NUNAWADING, VIC. — Police have arrested a 41-year-old Balwyn North man following three suspicious fires overnight.
The first occurred at an unoccupied premises on Springvale Road in Nunawading about 11.15pm.
No one was inside the building at the time, which was extensively damaged in the blaze.
The second and third incidents both occurred on Doncaster Road in Doncaster a short time later, where a fence and bushes were damaged.
Officers arrested the 41-year-old nearby in Balwyn North.
The man of no fixed address will be interviewed by Boroondara Crime Investigation Unit detectives.
