DANDENONG SOUTH, VIC. — Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit have charged a second man following a fatal crash in Dandenong South last month.
Detectives executed a warrant at a Hampton Park address yesterday and arrested a 21-year-old man.
It is alleged that he was racing one of the vehicles involved in the fatality at the time of the crash.
He has been charged with culpable driving and dangerous driving.
He has been bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Friday, July 10.
A 21-year-old from Cranbourne West was previously charged with culpable driving and dangerous driving causing death in relation to the crash on the South Gippsland Highway on June 26, about 1.50am.
A 21-year-old man from Cranbourne died as a result of the crash.
