BROADMEADOWS, VIC. — Homicide Squad detectives yesterday charged a 23-year-old man as part of their investigation into the death of a man in Broadmeadows last month.
The 23-year-old man, who was already in custody on unrelated matters, was charged Thursday afternoon with murder.
He faces the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Monday, August 17.
The charges follow an incident on July 21, where an injured man was located unresponsive outside a property on Graham Street.
The 40-year-old Broadmeadows man was treated at the scene but passed away.
Police will allege the parties were known to each other.
