PAKENHAM, VIC. — Homicide Squad detectives have today charged a man over the death of a man in Pakenham last week.
With assistance from the Special Operations Group, a 39-year-old Wyndham Vale man was arrested at 10:20am.
He has since been interviewed by investigators and charged with murder.
The man appeared before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court last night.
The charges follow an incident where a 36-year-old man was located deceased with a fatal gunshot wound in a home on Jamieson Court about 1pm on Friday, July 31.
Police understand that the parties involved were known to each other.
