BRUNSWICK, VIC. — Police are investigating after a car struck a pedestrian, collided with a vehicle and crashed into two parked cars at the intersection of Sydney Road and Albert Street just before midnight.

BRUNSWICK, VIC. — Police are investigating after a car struck a pedestrian, collided with a vehicle and crashed into two parked cars at the intersection of Sydney Road and Albert Street just before midnight.

Investigators understand a black Toyota Yaris struck a male pedestrian.

He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Yaris did not stop at the scene and continued east on Albert Street.

A short time later, the Yaris collided with another vehicle travelling west.

It then crashed into two parked cars.

There were no other reported injuries.

Police were told the three occupants of the Yaris dumped the car at the scene and fled on foot towards Lygon Street.

No arrests have been made at this stage.
