TRUGANINA, VIC. — Victoria Police’s Professional Standards Command detectives have charged a PSO following a collision in Truganina last year.
The sergeant, from Transit Safety Command, allegedly falsely nominated the driver involved in a collision on Monday, October 6, 2024 while off-duty.
He was charged on summons with an attempt to pervert the course of justice and obtain financial advantage by deception.
The 29-year-old was also previously charged with refusing a preliminary breath test and careless driving.
He will appear before a court at a later date.
The investigation remains ongoing.
