Solo rider with life-threatening injuries following collision

LANGWARRIN, VIC. — Police are investigating a serious collision in Langwarrin last night.

LANGWARRIN, VIC. — Police are investigating a serious collision in Langwarrin last night.

It is believed a motorcycle, which was travelling eastbound on Cranbourne-Frankston Road, struck a Toyota Yaris as it was making a right turn into a nearby carpark about 8.25pm.

Police understand the motorcycle did not have lights on at the time of the collision.

The rider, a 16-year-old boy, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene to render assistance.

An investigation remains ongoing.

Investigators are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, as well as anyone with dash cam footage.
