CLYDE NORTH, VIC. — Casey Crime Investigation Unit (CIU) detectives have arrested three teenagers following an affray in Clyde North on Sunday.

Police were called to the scene after reports that up to four teenagers, some armed with weapons, were seen fighting at the Linsell Boulevard centre on Sunday, May 31, about 4.40pm.

Detectives will allege that four males, who were armed with what appeared to be a baseball bat and hockey stick, met up with another group who were also armed with a machete before the fight broke out.

When police arrived, those involved had fled the scene.

Attending members spoke to witnesses at the scene before local crime scene officers processed the area.

Detectives executed a search warrant on Lineham Drive in Cranbourne East on Wednesday, arresting one male.

Two other males attended a local police station and were arrested.

The three 18-year-olds from Cranbourne East have been charged with intentionally causing serious injury, recklessly causing serious injury, affray and weapons offences.

They have been remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
