Today VicNews received a letter from controversial Victorian United Australia Party (UAP) Senator, Ralph Babet.
Weeks earlier, VicNews sent via email and postal mail – a series of standard questions a journalist would ask – to Senator Babet seeking his responses to questions such as why he supports US President Donald Trump and his policies. What benefits does he think supporting Trump will have for Australia?
Instead of a response to questions, VicNews received a ‘pocket pack’ of 10 Kleenex tissues and a ‘With Compliments’ card. It should be noted that these items were sent at the taxpayer’s expense.
The hand-addressed letter was posted from UAP Senator Babet’s Narre Warren office.
Senator Babet is the UAP ‘whip’.
