The Kinglake Football Netball Club (KFNC) is excited to announce that Dave Florance has signed up to continue as the senior coach for the 2026 season, continuing his leadership into a third consecutive year.
In his first season, Dave helped steer Kinglake through a challenging start before finishing strong, going toe to toe with the competition’s best in the back half of the year.

That momentum has carried into 2025, with the boys showing consistency, hunger, and belief every week.
Dave’s passion for the club is clear, and you can see the confidence he instils in the playing group every week. His energy, knowledge, and commitment are second to none, and we’re pumped to see what the rest of the season brings.
Kinglake currently sits 5th on the Northern Football Netball League division three ladder, pushing hard for a finals spot and building something special for the future.
“Well done, Dave, we look forward to building on the foundations you’ve already laid, and can’t wait to see where 2026 takes us!”

Tomorrow, Saturday, July 19, Kinglake faces the Fitzroy Stars at the Kinglake Memorial Oval, which looks like it will be a close match with the advantage of Kinglake on their home turf, “on the mountain.”
