UNITED STATES. — Controversial Fox News host Jesse Watters recently made rape jokes on the Rupert Murdoch-owned Fox News channel.
In a discussion on Fox News’ “The Five”, the panel discussed US Secretary of War Pete Hegesth’s plan to test male soldiers for ‘low testosterone.’
It is also of note, in an Australian context, that it is well known that during World War II, when American servicemen were stationed in Australia, the American troops behaved poorly, treated women as chattels and often bribed them with pantyhose. In many cases, the US soldiers would cheat with Australian women whose husbands were overseas on active service.
Americans have a long history of treating Australian women like shit.
Watters, supporting Hegseth’s plan, then said, live to air: “He [Hegseth] says you lose your endurance, muscle mass. So yeah, I want these guys to be on it.
“But you know what’s going to happen?
“The guys that don’t need it are going to take it to triple boost, right?
“And then they’re going to get out there and women on base? You guys better be careful.
“Port calls, women in Asia. You’d better be careful because these guys are going to be wild animals and you better watch out.”
Watters and his Fox News team insist it was “all just a joke.” Perhaps no one told Rupert Murdoch to inform the journalists he employs that making rape jokes is not on and “will result in instant dismissal”, but this is Rupert Murdoch we’re talking about, so he doesn’t care if a few rape jokes bring in the viewers and revenue.
Not even inmates in prisons make rape jokes. Yet a Murdoch hack does so live-to-air? If Watters had said that in prison? He’d already be dead. Dead. Murdered. Inmates have higher behavioural standards than Rupert Murdoch and his employees worldwide?
Jess Watters and Rupert Murdoch are boneyarders.

“Watters isn’t interested in informing viewers. He’s interested in provoking them.” (Sounds like Sky News or Outsiders down under).
Like most Murdoch journalists worldwide, Watters has made his mark by engaging in rage-bait and uttering easily provable bullshit whenever he is on air to make ‘good television’ when in reality, what he means is getting far-right people to click on the link on X (formerly Twitter) as Musk feeds the algorithm.
Rupert Murdoch also owns Sky News Australia (Fox News Down Under), daily tabloids in all Australian capital cities except Perth, and the national daily broadsheet The Australian.
We therefore conclude, as no Australian Murdoch-employed journalist has called out the behaviour of their US peer, that Murdoch’s Australian journalists support Watters’ words.
As such, we believe that Australian Murdoch journalists think rape is something to joke about live-to-air.
The “most humble day” of Murdoch’s life. Until tomorrow.
No Australian journalists employed by Rupert Murdoch would respond to our enquiries, nor condemn Watters’ on-air comments, including female reporters employed by News Ltd, Murdoch’s Australian news company.
