A Leading Senior Constable (LSC) from the Western region has been charged following an internal police investigation.

The 65-year-old LSC has been charged with two counts of false imprisonment and three counts of common law assault.

The charges relate to an alleged incident whilst on duty in March 2024.

He will appear before a Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
