Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 55-year-old man who was this morning arrested at a South Yarra address early this morning following the death of a woman in Maribyrnong on June 12.
Emergency services were called to Macedon Street at about 5.40pm on June 12 after the 81-year-old female resident was located deceased inside her property.
A 55-year-old man was arrested early this morning at an address in South Yarra.
He has been charged with one count of murder.
The South Yarra man has been remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on October 27.
