BOX HILL, VIC. — Whitehorse Crime Investigation Unit detectives charged three males yesterday following an aggravated home invasion in Box Hill North yesterday morning.
Investigators will allege four people forced entry to a property on Trawool Street just before 4.30am.
The group allegedly stole cash from the two occupants before fleeing.
There were no injuries.
Police responded and arrested a 17-year-old boy from the Wyndham area as well as two 18-year-old men from Point Cook and Altona North respectively.
The trio have each been charged with aggravated home invasion, armed robbery, two counts of theft of a motor vehicle and two counts of assault with a weapon.
The two men were also charged with committing an indictable offence whilst on bail.
They were remanded and appeared before the Melbourne Bail and Remand Court last night.
The 17-year-old was remanded to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
Police are continuing to search for a fourth person.
An investigation remains ongoing.
