Bundoora p-plater nabbed at 195km/h on Ring Road

An 18-year-old South Morang probationary 'p-plate' driver has had their car impounded after they were caught speeding in Bundoora at about 2:55am today.

An 18-year-old South Morang probationary ‘p-plate’ driver has had their car impounded after they were caught speeding in Bundoora at about 2:55am today.

Greensborough Highway Patrol officers intercepted a Subaru driving on the Metropolitan Ring Road (M80) at about 2.55am on December 8, 2024.

The driver ‘was clocked’ with an alleged speed of 195km/h in a 110km/h zone via police radar.

The alleged offender’s Subaru was impounded for 30 days for $992.52.

The 18-year-old South Morang man has been summonsed to appear at Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court.
