CAMBERWELL, VIC. — Boroondara Criminal Investigation Unit Detectives are investigating a home invasion in Camberwell this morning.

CAMBERWELL, VIC. — Boroondara Criminal Investigation Unit Detectives are investigating a home invasion in Camberwell this morning.

It is understood that two male offenders, armed with a hammer and baseball bat, forced entry into a property on Kirkwood Drive about 3am.

It is believed that one offender entered the premises while the second offender stayed outside.

The offenders were disturbed by one of the occupants, a 46-year-old man, as the offender made demands for the victim’s car keys.

The two offenders fled the scene in the victim’s white Jeep Cherokee.

There were three other occupants inside the premises at the time.

The occupants was not physically injured.
