HOPPERS CROSSING, VIC. — Firefighters responded to a house fire in Alsace Avenue, Hoppers Crossing, on the evening of Thursday, August 27.
Crews arrived on scene around 6.15pm, within minutes of receiving the call, to find a single-storey home on fire.
Firefighters forced entry into the house to find the rear of the home’s roof on fire.
Searches by firefighters determined that the family of three was not home.
The fire significantly damaged the home.
The fire was deemed under control within 50 minutes.
Specialist FRV fire investigators investigated the cause.
