DALLAS, VIC. — Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) firefighters were called yesterday, around 4.46pm to an incident on Boort Street, Dallas, after multiple callers to Triple Zero (000) reported a house fire.
Further calls stated that windows were exploding. The response was escalated.
Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find smoke and flames issuing from a single-storey house.

Fire crews donned breathing apparatus to attack the fire and prevent it from spreading to adjoining properties.
Two residents returned to the home at the time of the fire.
The fire was deemed under control at 5.06pm.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
It will be investigated by FRV specialists.
Firefighters remained on scene to ensure the fire was fully extinguished.
