AIRPORT WEST, VIC. — Police are appealing for public assistance after a man stole two wedding rings from a jewellery store in Airport West last week.

AIRPORT WEST, VIC. — Police are appealing for public assistance after a man stole two wedding rings from a jewellery store in Airport West last week.

The man entered the store inside a shopping centre on Louis Street just before 12pm.

Investigators believe the man spoke to staff and was assisted in trying on wedding rings.

Police have been told the man put the rings on and suddenly ran from the store.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 35 to 40 years old, 180cm tall and bald.

He was wearing a ‘Umbro’ branded cream jumper, a black baseball cap, blue denim jeans and black shoes.
