Armed Crime Squad detectives charged five men following an aggravated burglary in Keysborough earlier this year.
Police allege the men gained entry to a Winslow Court home at around 5am on February 8, 2025.
Detectives believe an altercation occurred inside the residence and a firearm was discharged.
A 45-year-old man sustained minor injuries during the incident and was treated at the scene.
Also at home at the time were three further men and a woman. They were not physically injured.
With assistance from the Fugitive Squad, a 39-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested in Glen Waverley on Tuesday afternoon.
The man was charged with aggravated home invasion with a firearm, five counts of false imprisonment, five counts of common law assault and two counts of theft.
A 38-year-old Hoppers Crossing man was charged with aggravated home invasion with a firearm, five counts of false imprisonment, five counts of common law assault, two counts of theft and possessing a prohibited weapon.
A 33-year-old Gowanbrae man was charged with aggravated home invasion with a firearm, five counts of false imprisonment, five counts of common law assault, two counts of theft and committing a schedule 1 offence whilst on bail.
A 55-year-old Deer Park man was charged with aggravated home invasion with a firearm, five counts of false imprisonment, five counts of common law assault, two counts of theft, possession of cannabis, possession of methylamphetamine and possession of heroin.
A 40-year-old man of no fixed place of address was charged with aggravated home invasion with a firearm, five counts of false imprisonment, five counts of common law assault and two counts of theft.
All four were remanded in custody and will appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday, May 23.
Police believe the people involved are known to each other.
