Moorabool Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after a shot was fired at a house in Long Forest earlier this week.
It is understood that a shot was fired through the window of a property on Canopus Circuit about 8.40pm on Tuesday, May 27.
A 41-year-old woman was inside the property at the time of the incident.
She was not physically injured.
Police are working to establish the circumstances of the incident; however, at this early stage in the investigation, it is not believed the incident was targeted.
The investigation remains ongoing.
