Man arrested following stabbing

MELTON WEST, VIC. — Police are investigating after two males were located with injuries consistent with stab wounds on McKenzie Street in Melton about 11.50pm.

MELTON WEST, VIC. — Police are investigating after two males were located with injuries consistent with stab wounds on McKenzie Street in Melton about 11.50pm.

The first victim, a man in his 20’s, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The second victim, also in his 20’s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A secondary crime scene is in place at a car park on Barries Road in Melton West, where it is believed the incident occurred.

A 22-year-old Melton South man has since self-presented to a police station. He remains in custody to be interviewed by detectives.

Police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.

The investigation remains ongoing.
