BURWOOD EAST, VIC. — Nunawading Highway Patrol officers are investigating a fatal collision that occurred in Burwood East this morning.
Emergency services were called to reports that a car had collided with another vehicle before crashing into a tree on Springvale Road just after 9.30am.
The driver of the car, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle stopped at the scene and was not injured.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.
