SOUTH MELBOURNE, VIC. — Prahran Highway Patrol officers are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a blue Volkswagen Golf travelling southbound on Kings Way struck a pedestrian in South Melbourne just after 3am.
The yet-to-be-formally identified man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car, a man in his 30’s, stopped at the scene and was spoken to by police.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision, or with dashcam footage, to come forward.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
