Pedestrian seriously injured following collision

ESSENDON NORTH, VIC. — Fawkner Highway Patrol are appealing for witnesses after a man was hit by a truck in Essendon North just before 9.25am yesterday.

ESSENDON NORTH, VIC. — Fawkner Highway Patrol are appealing for witnesses after a man was hit by a truck in Essendon North just before 9.25am yesterday.

Police have been told the man was struck whilst crossing Keilor Road near Roberts Street.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the truck, a 45-year-old Mickleham man, stopped at the scene and has spoken with police.

Police are appealing for motorists with dashcams who were driving on Keilor Road or anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
