Police investigate McDonald’s armed robbery

Police are appealing for public assistance following an alleged armed robbery at McDonald's Kingsbury at about 3.40am on February 3.

Police are appealing for public assistance following an alleged armed robbery at McDonald’s Kingsbury at about 3.40am on February 3.

It is understood a man entered the McDonald’s on the corner of Plenty Road and Dunne Street and approached the counter.

The man put a shopping bag on the counter, threatened a staff member with a knife and demanded he put cash into the bag.

He fled the scene on foot and ran west on Dunne Street.

There were no physical injuries.

He is described as a young male, about 155cm tall wearing all-black clothing.
