FOOTSCRAY, VIC. — Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Footscray yesterday evening.
A man was located with serious injuries behind a licenced premises on Nicholson Street, near Irvine Street, about 7.45pm.
Emergency services worked on the man, who is yet to be formally identified, but he died at the scene.
The death is being treated as suspicious. A crime scene is in place.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
An investigation is ongoing.
